Terms & Conditions
1. Validity
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- Prices and availability of materials may be subject to change beyond this period.
2. Scope of Work
- Quotes are based on the information provided and a visual inspection of the site.
- Any additional work or changes requested after acceptance will incur extra charges.
- The quote includes only the items explicitly listed. Additional services are not included unless stated.
3. Access & Preparation
- The client is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the loft area on the agreed date of work.
- Any obstructions or delays caused by access issues may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
4. Insulation & Boarding
- Boarding will be installed above existing insulation where possible. If insulation needs to be upgraded, it will be done in line with current regulations and may affect boarding height.
- The boarding system is designed for light storage only. Maximum load capacity is approximately 25 kg per square metre. Overloading can damage the structure or insulation and will void any guarantees.
5. Electrical & Other Services
- All electrical cables and services in the loft must be clearly identified prior to work commencing.
- If any hidden services are found, we may need to pause work, which may incur additional costs.
6. Health & Safety
- We follow industry-standard health and safety procedures during installation.
- The customer agrees not to enter the work area during the installation process unless invited by our team for inspection.
7. Payment Terms
- A 20% deposit will be required to secure your booking.
- Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash.
8. Cancellation & Delays
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled start date may incur a cancellation fee.
- In the event of unforeseen delays we will communicate promptly and reschedule as necessary.
9. Guarantee & Liability
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months unless otherwise stated.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to insulation materials where applicable.
- We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, poor ventilation, or future alterations not carried out by us.
10. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for removing or securing personal items near or in the loft area.
- Any known issues (e.g. leaks, vermin, structural damage) must be disclosed before work begins.
11. Acceptance
- By accepting a quote, you agree to the terms and conditions above.
